About CMASEDIF

We are officially registered under the Societies Act 1966 on 28 February 2024, and recognized under CMAS (The World Underwater Federation) in July 2024 and has officially become a member, affiliated in the Scientific Committee. Our mission is to promote eco-friendly diving, water safety, and marine conservation through training, research, and community engagement.

Our Past & Ongoing Training

  • Eco-Snorkeling Guides Course - Launched in 2021, this course trains tourist guides with the knowledge, skills, and values to educate visitors about marine ecosystems. In 2025, we are expanding to recruit more guides to promote responsible tourism and marine conservation.

  • Basic & Intermediate Water Rescue - In collaboration with BOMBA (Fire & Rescue Academy), our divers receive hands-on training in different water conditions — from calm lakes to waves — to prepare for emergencies. Graduates earn the 3-Star Eco Snorkeler Diver certification and can advance to instructorship.

  • 1-Star & 2-Star Diver - Open to the public, this program goes beyond basic scuba training. Participants learn diving skills while gaining awareness of marine habitats, conservation, and environmental responsibility — shaping divers who care for the ocean.

  • LLH Junior Eco Snorkeler Diver - Under the Learn, Live, Hope (LLH) campaign, kids start their journey with fun, interactive sessions that combine snorkeling skills with knowledge of marine life, conservation, and cleanliness. This builds a new generation of responsible young snorkelers and divers.

  • Junior Diver (Discover Scuba) - Building on the LLH Junior program, juniors can try the Discover Scuba Diver experience in a safe environment. With comfort and confidence, they progress to open-water diving, deepening their love and respect for the ocean.

  • Junior Basic Water Rescue - Starting 2025, young eco-snorkelers (from as young as 8) will learn basic water rescue with BOMBA. This program teaches life-saving skills, building safety, confidence, and responsibility in the next generation of divers.
